Camp size is from 5-10 campers. We have found that this number allows for more one to one interaction and less waiting by the campers. Campers will experience a variety of sensory activities, outdoor activities and many typical camp events to enhance sensory integration opportunities. Summer camp provides an opportunity for the kids to interact with peers, and build on the skills they have been learning all year through individual therapy, school and other special services. Socialization with peers within a community setting is important for kids with sensory integrative disorders and The Barn summer camp provides that privilege in a safe and nurturing environment. Campers develop a close relationship with camp counselors and therapists as well as the other campers.
Your child will need to bring a swim suit, change of clothing, sack lunch and drink. The campers will be interacting in many activisties throughout the week Each activity will last about 45 minutes and begin at 9 am.

All full day weeks offer a 1/2 day camp for 9-noon or noon-3 for all ages.(Transportation is not available for this option)
*Transportation is available for full day campers ONLY, space is limited. Please RSVP by e-mail to info@myplaybarn.com. We require a 48-hour notice for transportation cancellation. If you do not call before the 48-hour deadline then you may still be subject to pay the $10 fee. Transportation will leave from 15681 Spaulding Street at 8:30am and will return between 3:30 and 4pm.**
